I believe in the resilience of human beings — in our ability to recover and look ahead, even in complex or dark times. Hope is a driving force; as long as it exists, we can keep building a more humane world.
Through my work, I aim to move the viewer and invite them to look with an open mind — to pause and reflect on what we feel, forget, or avoid. My images play with contrasts: strength and vulnerability, light and darkness, abstraction and recognition.
I mainly work with stained glass, steel, glass, and resin. Glass fascinates me for the way it captures and transforms light — at once hard and fragile, transparent and concealing. By combining traditional techniques with a contemporary visual language, I create work that is tangible and layered.
Monumentality is central to my process — not only in scale but also in presence. My works are designed to occupy space, both physically and emotionally, challenging viewers to engage with them.
Sensuality, form, and materiality are essential. I seek a balance between tension and expression, between what is visible and what lies beneath. Each piece is meant to evoke meaning — and to awaken the strength that resides in every human being.”
